Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American performer and songwriter, hails from St. Louis Missouri. Her most well-known work is her character Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the leader of the rock group The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been featured in the film and television series such as How to Be a Single and the show Going the Mile. Taylor Momsen's younger sister Sloane Momsen also works as an actress. She studied dance in the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. Her first role in the professional world was in a Shake and Bake commercial that aired nationally at age of 3. Momsen's professional career came to slow halt for three years before she was offered her first lead role on the WB program Misconceptions. Momsen did also appear at that moment in the film Saving Shiloh (2006). In addition, Momsen was a candidate for the role of lead in Hannah Montana. She was one of the top three however, Miley got the role.
